I was born and raised on a ranch in the Texas Panhandle.
My brothers are gents and our mother was a marvel.
She called me Savage until the day she died.
For most everyone else, though, I’m Savannah Hoover.
I graduated in 2012 with an Adventure Journalism degree, which set me on course for doing something grand with my life. Right now, that means building a business around my writing, editing and artistic skills. It allows me to work from home (or anywhere) and discover the world in my own way. I document my life in two journals: a giant hardback and a traveling sketchbook.
I write for the sake of my sanity.
I snap film for fun.
And I draw for the hell of it.
All entries on this site are my work unless otherwise noted. Enjoy.
